We may be looking back at 2011 as the year that Adidas finally has brought a major contender to the basketball shoe market. To be honest starting from Michael Jordan to Kobe Bryant to Lebron, Nike has netted the most popular and marketable players in the game. However, for the first time it looks like they missed the boat (or just lost out) on making the signature shoe for Derrick Rose, the Adidas Adizero Crazy Light shoes.
With the NBA entering the age of super athletic point guards like Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, and John Wall, having the best pg among them Adidas finally has arguably the best player in the game. I’ve predominantly been a Nike hoops player myself, but I definitely am going to give these Adidas a run.
